Project Manager, Digital 2.0

Scott Wadland is a Project Manager on the Digital 2.0 program at Boston Children’s Hospital.  In this role he collaborates with leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise to plan, manage and deliver projects supporting the Digital 2.0 strategic initiative.

 Scott previously worked in the Information Services Division at Boston Children’s as a Project Manager.  In this position he managed a number of enterprise-critical efforts, including validation for the ICD-10 conversion and the Cerner Ambulatory Optimization project.

Prior to working in healthcare Scott worked in the financial services industry in a number of project, program and portfolio management roles.

Scott holds a High-Tech MBA from Northeastern University and an undergraduate degree in Family and Consumer Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  He is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).

Interests

Outside of work Scott is committed to public service and serves as a member of the Framingham School Committee as well as a number of related organizations.  In what’s left of his free time Scott enjoys woodworking, home improvement, scuba diving and volleyball.
