VP, Digital Health
Jen Magaziner, MBA, MPH, is the Vice President for Digital Health at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she works with leaders across the enterprise to drive digital strategy and transformation. She co-leads the Innovation & Digital Health Accelerator (IDHA) with John Brownstein, Chief Innovation Officer, and oversees a growing portfolio of patient and care team-facing digital health offerings. Prior to her time in IDHA, Jen served as the Director of National Strategy for the enterprise.
Previously Jen worked across the healthcare sector as a consultant within PwC’s Healthcare Advisory where she focused on payer/provider M&A and the design and deployment of supporting novel care and payment models. Jen has also spent time at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Public Health Solutions
Jen began her career in global health at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), where she partnered with in-country teams on programs to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV. This work sparked a passion for challenging traditional care models and enabling more equitable access to health services.
Jen holds an MBA as well as an MPH (in Reproductive & Family Health), both from Columbia University, and a dual BA in International Relations and French from Brown University.
Favorite Innovation
The use of mobile phone applications to empower health care workers in developing regions, and the resulting ability to expand access to primary and pre and postnatal care in remote areas. Still dreaming of hacking the breast pump so that it is an innovation worth discussing.
