Digital Access Liaison

Val serves as a Digital Access Liaison (DAL) for IDHA & Strategic Access Transformation (SAT). DALs act as a liaison between key digital initiatives and clinical areas/aligned teams, energized by concurrent focus on several early stage projects. They are responsible for understanding the broader digital portfolio, communicating upcoming and current work with departments and bringing feedback from the care team back to project teams and leadership.

Val previously worked in Patient Financial Services (PFS) where she was Team Lead for the Heart Center Pod overseeing daily operations and collaborating with both clinical and financial teams to secure pre-service financial clearance for patients. Prior to joining PFS, Val worked in multiple roles across the Heart Center, the Physicians Organization and the Ambulatory Float Pool.
